Home Exercise Programs:
Easy Exercises To Do At Home
As I’m sure you know, exercising and leading a healthy life isn’t easy. You want to lose weight and be a little more active each week, but it’s hard to fit into such a busy schedule. I have a simple solution: home exercise programs.
My name is Josh, and a few years ago I got frustrated trying to balance a busy life with staying in shape. Because I’m not a body builder or pro athlete, I wasn’t interested in “getting jacked” or anything complex – I just wanted an easy, fun way to stay in shape.
So I started doing workouts in the most convenient place possible – my own home! If you’ve struggled to keep up a weekly workout plan or are looking to start a simple exercise routine for beginners that requires ZERO experience, keep reading!
What Are Home Exercise Programs
Who Are They For?
A home exercise program is any exercise you do from home. Simple, right? Yet so many people don’t even consider them. If you’re a beginner or haven’t exercised much, you won’t find an easier and more convenient way to include more exercise in your daily life. Soon you’ll realize that you have an entire gym right under your nose!
No matter how much or little experience you have, there’s a home exercise program for you. Keep reading to learn more, or if you’re ready, head on over to the Get Started portion of the website.
Benefits of Home Exercise Programs
We’ve all been there before – you finish a long day of work and you’re not in the mood to change, go to the gym, workout and go home. And you still have to make dinner, do the laundry and (insert other random house chore here)…
I guess you should skip the workout because you’re tired, it’s getting late and you have other stuff to do, right?
Wrong! A home workout without equipment doesn’t add any extra commuting to your night because you will be at home anyway – you can even work some chores into your home exercise program too!
In short, they save time.
Are you a poor student? Young professional on a budget? Looking to save extra money to go on that family trip?
Cut the gym membership or fancy training sessions and start a home exercise program. As you’ll see in our guides, you can do a workout without equipment almost anytime and anywhere.
On the flip side, if you want to improve your home exercise program and have some money to spend, there’s plenty of workout equipment for home that is very affordable. If you’re looking for some of those right away, check out our equipment guides and reviews!
Since the best home exercises generally include little or no equipment, they’re very straight-forward. You can easily do them by yourself, with some friends/family members and all while watching T.V., listening to a podcast, or making use of anything else in your house/apartment.
Even if you’re an absolute beginner to exercise, head on over to the Get Started part of the website and you’ll see how easy it is!
When you go to the gym, or yoga class, or intramural sports game (I love all of the above btw!), you’re limited to the type of activity or equipment they provide (and also to the hours they’re open or running classes). When you start a home exercise program, the exercising world is your oyster.
You can exercise at 6:54am before work or 9:18pm once the kids are in bed. The best exercises to do at home are the ones that fit right in your schedule.
Also, you can focus on cardio for a few weeks, or maybe you want more strength training, or you want a full body workout every time. No matter what type of exercising or workout you’re looking for, there’s something for you…and you’re the boss who gets to decide!
